Features

FC0008
is a elliptic dome type. Hoop is
used to fix and seal FOSC cover and
base, and its installation is quite
simple. FC0008 is provided with 5
fiber cable inlet/outlet ports.
After being heated, heat shrinkable
fixing sleeve is used to fix and
seal between inlet/outlet tube and
fiber cable. The FOSC is suitable
for protecting fiber cable splices
in straight-through and branching
applications. It can be placed in
aerial, underground, wall-mounting,
handhole mounting and duct-mounting
applications. Based on an advanced
formula, the plastic parts are made
of injection-molded, high-strength
engineering plastic PC by numerical
control equipment, therefore
effectively prevent products from
aging caused by coldness, heat,
oxygen and ultraviolet radiation.
The strong housing and main
components provide fire resistant,
waterproof, and quakeproof while
protecting splices during pulling,
torsioning and impacting. It ensures
long-term reliability and usage
under ambient temperature from
-40℃to +65 ℃.(Note: This closure is
assembled with cable pressboard on
the housing.) Advanced internal

Innovative elastic integrated seal
fitting
The FOSC
base is provided with an oval
inlet/outlet port, which can
accommodate 2 pieces of fiber cable
with max. diameter Φ35mm
simultaneously. While
straight-through fiber cable is for
branching application, fibers uncut
are for straight-through after being
fixed and winded, fibers cut off are
for branching after fusion splicing
with fibers of other branching fiber
cable.

FC0008
consists of one set of elastic seal
fitting, our company patent product,
which, based on an advanced formula,
is made of injection-molded, high
quality elastic sealing material by
numerical control equipment. It is
installed between FOSC housing and
the hoop. Under ambient temperature
from -40 ℃ to +65℃, it can be
shrinking and dilating to ensure
long-term sealing performance of
FOSC. It also ensures good
re-sealing performance after closing
and reentry for many times. Sealing
is achieved by locking the hoop,
therefore easy for installation. The
most strongpoint is that the hoop
and housing are made of
injection-molded, high-strength
engineering plastic PC by numerical
control equipment; They, together
with elastic seal fitting, can be
shrinking and dilating at the same
rate under violent changes of
ambient temperature, therefore the
closure ensures long-term
reliability and sealing performance.
All of the above features make it
more easy and convenient for
installation, maintenance and
re-entry, therefore saving time. If
required, the earthing deriving
device can be installed on the
housing of FOSC for deriving
metallic parts of fiber cable for
earthing connection. Pressure
testing valve can be installed as
well for pressure testing and
sealing testing after injecting air.

capacity of bunchy FOST 031 is 12
cores
The
capacity of bunchy FOST 027 is 24-48
cores;

capacity of bunchy FOST 029 is 36-72
cores;
Quantity
of bunchy FOSTs and heat shrinkable
protective sleeves are to be
determined according to the total
capacity of the FOSC. Ribbon FOST
028 can accommodate 12 pieces of
ribbon heat shrinkable protective
sleeves.
Ribbon
FOST 030 can accommodate 18 pieces
of ribbon heat shrinkable protective
sleeves.

multi-cores after fusion splicing.)

1. Outside dimension (height x

2. FC0008 is provided with 5 inout/outlet
ports. Among these ports, 4 single
inlet/outlet ports suit for single
fiber cables with max. diameter
Φ20mm and 1 mass inlet/outlet port
suits for 1 piece of fiber cable
with max diameter 36mm.2 piece of
fiber cable with max. diameter Φ35mm
or 3 pieces of fiber cables with
max. diameter Φ25mm or multi-pieces
of fiber cables with smaller
diameter. Heat shrinkable fixing
sleeve should be ordered in addition
according to actual requirement
(Heat shrinkable fixing sleeve is
used to seal and fix fiber cable).
3. FC0008-IV and FC0008-V can
separately accommodate 1-6 or 1-5
ribbon FOSTs with 12 pieces or 18
pieces of ribbon heat shrinkable
protective sleeve per tray 4 cores,
6 cores, 8 cores or 12 cores per
ribbon heat shrinkable protective
sleeve are available for
customers'selection. The following
can be configured according to
capacity of FOSC and number of cores
of each ribbon fiber of fiber cable
to be actually installed. model and
quantity of ribbon FOST quantity and
number of cores of ribbon heat
shrinkable protective sleeve.
In this case, buffer tube is
necessary to be ordered and can hold
max. 3pieces of ribbon fibers .
4. The installation accessories
provided with the FOSC: 1 piece of
special wrench, earthing wire, nylon
tie, labeling paper,
desiccant,aluminum-foil paper and 1
set of metal hoop.
5. Accessories for customers'
selection: buffer tube for bunchy
fiber, buffer tube for ribbon fiber,
earthing deriving device, pressure
testing valve, small heat shrinkable
fixing sleeve and big heat
shrinkable fixing sleeve (please
